LP Restyle "Stanotte | Stamattina" Artemoltobuffa
The redesign of Stanotte | Stamattina by Artemoltobuffa is a journey between night and day. I kept the iconic botanical cover from 2004, adding shades that evoke sunrise and sunset.
A transparent vinyl, light as air, and a new international feel for a timeless album.

When Artemoltobuffa approached me to redesign their album Stanotte | Stamattina, I immediately felt the importance of staying connected to the original visual essence from 2004.
The botanical cover had a strong visual and symbolic impact, deeply rooted in the album’s identity, and it was something I couldn’t let go of. Yet, the project needed evolution.

The concept for the redesign was inspired directly by the album’s title: Stanotte | Stamattina. These two distinct and captivating moments of the day guided my stylistic choices.
I wanted to visually translate the transition from night to day, using two shades that dive into the deep tones of dusk and brighten with the delicate hues of dawn. For me, sunrise and sunset are magical moments, and I had to make sure this magic was reflected in the design.

To add a distinctive touch, I chose the Orpheus Pro typeface, an elegant calligraphy font that combines tradition and modernity. This choice gave the cover an international allure, reflecting a "Californian" vibe that pushes the album beyond musical borders.

To add texture to the concept, we opted for a transparent vinyl that evokes the lightness of air. This choice brings a tactile dimension to the design, offering a physical experience that amplifies the project's aesthetic. However, for sound purists, we also kept a classic black vinyl version, perfect for the most discerning audiophiles.

The redesign of Stanotte | Stamattina is not just a celebration of the past but an invitation to rediscover a work that, even after 10 years, continues to resonate with surprising freshness. It’s a tribute to the timeless essence of an album that deserves to be heard, seen, and experienced by a new generation of fans.

This project reaffirmed an important lesson: the balance between honoring the past and embracing future innovation is the key to creating designs that stand the test of time.
